Filling positions for qualified assessors and experts in the field of driver fitness assessment and traffic medicine is becoming increasingly challenging. There is particularly high demand for experienced psychologists specializing in fitness assessment or physicians with expertise in assessment and traffic medicine.
Against this backdrop, our recruitment team is currently supporting the search for a team leader for an established driver fitness assessment center in Hesse as part of a confidential direct-approach mandate.
The position combines technical assessment, team leadership, and quality management with responsibility for MPU and driving aptitude examinations—including those for professional drivers. The position is being filled as part of a planned succession plan.
Highly Specialized Professionals Are in Short Supply
The market for qualified professionals in the fields of fitness assessment, traffic psychology, and medical evaluation has been considered tight for years. In addition to technical qualifications, leadership skills, experience with quality-assured procedures, and the ability to handle complex decision-making situations professionally are often expected.
Consequently, clients are increasingly turning to specialized recruitment consultants with experience in discreetly approaching candidates for sensitive specialist and leadership roles.
Extensive experience in specialized medical and psychological roles
This current assignment is being carried out through a long-standing framework agreement partner of our firm, Kontrast Personalberatung GmbH. A key factor is, in particular, our extensive experience in filling demanding specialist and leadership roles at the intersection of medicine, psychology, diagnostics, and expert assessment.
Our recruitment consultants have been supporting hiring processes for many years in the healthcare sector, in psychological aptitude assessment, and in specialized technical-medical fields. In doing so, the company supports organizations in particular through discreet direct outreach, aptitude assessments, and structured selection processes.
Succession planning is gaining importance
A generational shift is becoming increasingly evident, particularly in specialized expert and consultant roles. Many organizations face the challenge of replacing experienced specialists and executives over the long term while simultaneously preserving knowledge, quality standards, and regional networks.
The current succession planning initiative in Hesse therefore serves as an example of the growing need for professionally supported recruitment in highly regulated specialized fields.
