Our academically trained personnel consultants from Hamburg were brought on board as partners of a large municipal hospital in Bavaria for an assessment centre.

The vacant position of Director of Nursing as "Head of Nursing in Psychiatry, Psychosomatics and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry" had to be filled.

In phase one, our headhunters were able to find suitable candidates for the position of nursing management within a short period of time. Through a quick direct search and the successful recruitment of candidates, we were able to present a mix of candidates to the client in a timely manner.

In the search for suitable candidates, our headhunters paid attention to a mix of applicants consisting of junior staff with the potential for future-oriented tasks, candidates with the will to lead a department and experienced managers who want to reorient themselves. We used aptitude diagnostics and the applicant management was DSGVO-compliant.

From this excellent starting position, we from Kontrast Personalberatung GmbH developed a suitable, lean and AGG-compliant assessment centre in the second phase in cooperation with the client's HR department, which matched the requirements and challenges of the position. At the request of the client, the main focus was on the extent to which the candidates are able to realign care in the various areas.

In a final step, our personnel consultants also assisted the client in conducting the assessment centre.

Within only 90 days, six suitable candidates for the position of nursing management / nursing director were presented and tested in the assessment centre for their professional suitability and management skills.

The result was unanimous due to the preparation with task creation, observer sheets, training of the participating observers, moderation and implementation of the selection day. In addition, written individual appraisals were prepared by our personnel consultants.

The candidate has already signed the employment contract and will start promptly.
