High-speed headhunting in northern Germany: top shortlist, selection of the best candidates and successful recruitment of the managing director of the organisation
The Kontrast Recruitment Consultancy team has successfully completed another challenging assignment in the healthcare and nursing sector: as part of a confidential executive search, the position of Managing Director (m/f/d) at a non-profit organisation in northern Germany was filled.
The aim was to arrange a succession plan for a sensitive leadership role – whilst business continued as usual and with high expectations regarding discretion, speed and quality.

The brief required a strictly confidential approach. In addition to specialist nursing and operational management experience, the focus was particularly on management competence, leadership effectiveness, the ability to steer the organisation and a values-based approach – in line with the strategic development of the organisation.

The final selection was made using a structured, transparent process (‘selection of the best candidates’): the recruitment consultants supported the decision-making process by applying consistent interview and assessment criteria, providing transparent assessments of suitability, and ensuring clear documentation of the selection criteria. This gave the selection panel a sound basis on which to make the recruitment decision swiftly whilst ensuring quality assurance.
